Dr. Nathan Bridge

Dr. Nathan Bridge

Dr. Nathan Bridge joined the Chiropractic Works team in 2005 after running a busy practice in Sydney and lecturing and tutoring at Macquarie University. Nathan’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic.

Nathan has served on the Chiropractors Association of Australia, NSW Executive Board, is a current Governor on the Sydney College of Chiropractic, Far North Qld Regional Co-ordinator for the Chiropractors Association of Australia QLD, and an Executive Board Member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society.

Nathan has experience in the sporting field having worked with several football teams and multiple high level athletes. He is passionate about working with children and regularly attends postgraduate seminars in paediatrics, pregnancy and family care.

Dr. Rachael McEwan

Dr. Rachel McEwan

Dr Rachel McEwan joined the Chiropractic Works team in early 2007 after working in an established Gonstead clinic in Melbourne.

Rachel is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia (CAA) and the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (Aus)

Rachel grew up in central Victoria before moving to Melbourne to study chiropractic at RMIT. Upon completion of her studies she was awarded the radiology award. Rachel is passionate about fitness, nutrition and paddling outrigger canoes. Rachel enjoys helping people reach greater levels of health and well being.

Dr. Kate Irvine

Dr. Kate Irvine

After receiving treatment from a chiropractor as a teen, Kate was inspired to study chiropractic. Dr Kate Irvine has a bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractor from Macquarie University in Sydney.

Kate moved to Cairns to join the Chiropractic Works team in early 2009 after working in a busy Gonstead clinic in Sydney. Kate is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia and the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (Aus).

Kate’s interests include enhancing the health of families through chiropractic care. Her hobbies include reading, going to the gym and cooking.

Dr. Harley Rushton

Dr. Harley Rushton

Dr Harley Rushton is a graduate of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. His 6 years of study includes a Certificate in Applied Science and a Bachelor of Chiropractic.

Dr Harley Rushton is a member of the Chiropractic Association of Australia (CAA), the Australian Spinal Research Foundation (ASRF) and the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (Aust). He regularly attends post-graduate Chiropractic programs internationally and undergoes continued professional education.

Harley is a second generation Chiropractor. Growing up with Chiropractic care Harley had the opportunity of a higher level of health and function from a very young age. This background has driven Harley to become a Chiropractor to help others live healthier lives.

Dr. Chris Bannon

Dr. Chris Bannon

Dr. Chris Bannon considers himself to be a lifelong student. His 9 years of university has provided him with an extensive knowledge base on how the body works and how to improve health and function.

Chris graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Applied Clinical Science. Prior to this accomplishment he studied Human Kinetics for 4 years at the University of Windsor, in Canada. Remarkably, Chris has maintained his thirst for knowledge and continues his education by regularly attending seminars on paediatrics, nutrition, and chiropractic.

Dr. Chris is committed to serving the Cairns and Mareeba community. He is passionate about not only helping people get out of pain, but also keeping people well. His mission is to improve the health and quality of life of families without the use of drugs or surgery.

Chris’ other passion is his family - which includes his beautiful wife Krisztina, and their newly adopted puppy, Ruby. His recreational interests include exercise, playing basketball, baseball, and guitar, reading, and watching any type of sport.
