Hip pain is a common condition people come to see us with. It can have big effects on your life affecting your ability to walk, sleep and exercise.

Hip pain can be described in different areas around the hip and the location can provide valuable information to the cause. Common areas of pain caused by a hip problem include:

• Lumbar spine (lower back) problem
• Pelvis problem
• Arthritis
• Infection
• Bursitis
• Muscle sprain/ strain
• Pregnancy
• Hernia

Our treatment aims to improve the movement of the hip joint and pelvis, relax the tension in the lower back, hip and pelvis muscles and allow the surrounding ligaments and tendons to heal.
